    But the purpose of this article is the use of Peat, or specifically Sphagnum Moss in swimming pool water purification. Although it may not completely replace the need for chlorine or other halogen in your pool water, using Sphagnum Moss inhibits the growth of microbes, including algae and can reduce the chlorine demand.

The fabrics on the skeleton of the individual grids can fray and can eventually tear. Over pressurized filters can also experience grids that will collapse. Pressure can also destroy the manifold.
